Lots to do this month from the Cherry Blossom Festival to celebrating St. Patrick’s Day to a slew of musical and theatrical performances. We have outlined below a few of our favorite activities this month.
2022 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship
Calling all basketball fans. The Atlantic 10 brings its conference finals to DC. This major playoff will determine the winner of the A-10 conference.

Capital Irish Film Festival
In its 16th year, the Capital Irish Film Festival shows Irish films, and films by Ireland-based filmmakers. The four day festival includes more than 25 feature and short films based at the American Film Institute’s Silver Theatre & Cultural Center

The FRIENDS Experience
Fans of FRIENDS can step inside the iconic tv show set of Friends including Monica’s kitchen and the FRIENDS fountain. Other experiences include sitting in Central Perk coffee shop, peeping through Rachel and Monica’s purple door, sitting in Chandler and Joey’s recliner or moving a sofa with the infamous sofa pivot.

Architecture & Design Film Festival
The festival will 12 feature length and short films from around the world that explore a range of timely issues in design leadership. It will feature icons of design architecture including Frank Lloyd Wright and Marcel Breuer as well as lesser known architects from around the world.

Fairfax City Restaurant Week

National Cherry Blossom Festival
Get out and enjoy the Cherry Blossoms this month with the beginning of the national Cherry Blossom Festival. There are a variety of events scheduled through April 14th. The Opening Ceremony is March 23 and the popular Blossom Kite Festival is planned for March 30.
