Alexandria Warehouse Sale
This local favorite event is reimagined this year as a walkable event. Normally held at the Westin Alexandria, this year the warehouse sale will exist in shops, popup tents and open retail space in Old Town. There are over 60 boutiques participating in the event and Made in ALX will be hosting over 25 local artisan wares on the waterfront at 201 Union Street.

Celebrate Lunar New Year
If you want to celebrate Lunar New Year in doors head out to Tysons Corner Center for a Lunar New Year party. The celebration includes a lion dance, traditional Chinese dance and music and Korean dance.

Smithsonian Virtual Lunar New Year Celebration
The American Art Museum in conjunction with the Chinese Embassy presents a fun filled virtual celebration of Lunar New Year. Celebrate from the comfort of your own home while streaming video performances of dances and acrobatics as well as a variety of family friendly craft activities.

Disney on Ice
Disney brings its Let’s Celebrate show to the Capital One Arena. See your favorite Disney characters from Disney favorite movies including Frozen, Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Aladdin and The Lion King and Finding Nemo.

Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition

National Geographic Museum Reopening
The Museum reopens this month with two fantastic exhibits. “Once Upon a Climb: Stories From Everest,” explores the history of Everest from the perspective of explorers, scientists and mapmakers. The second exhibit is “The Greatest Wildlife Photographs” – a collection of more than 60 of its most compelling photographs.

A celebration of classical art told through music and dance that follows 5000 years of Chinese history.
