Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, right? And, what better place to celebrate than at an Irish bar. We’ve done a round-up for you so you can patron a local pub, knock down some beer (green?, why not!) and indulge in Irish celebrations.

Though they have a roster of run-up events to the big day, the 17th is the One. Lunch is served at 9 a.m.-1 p.m. There will be Irish dancers and live music from seven bands.

Opens at 11 a.m. and throughout the day will have music: Mike Richards, 1-4 p.m. followed by By All Means, 7-11 p.m.
FAIRFAX
Old Brogue, Great Falls
Opens at 11 a.m. for their 41st St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Live music, food and no one under 21 allowed.
The Auld Shebeen, Fairfax City
Opens at 11:30 a.m. for celebrations with food, fare, music, Irish dancers and DJ at night.
Sully’s Pour House, Herndon
Opening at 8 a.m., enjoy a slew of kegs and eggs, Irish fare, shots and more all while being entertained by live music, Irish dancing and bar pong tournament ($317 cash prize!) at 10:30 p.m.
Ned Devine’s Irish Sports Pub, Herndon
Green beer and kegs and eggs starting at 9 a.m., Irish dancing with shows throughout the day (1:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.) and then at 8:30 p.m. a performance by Northern Virginia Firefighter’s Emerald Society Pipe Band.
LOUDOUN
Finnegan’s Grill & Irish Pub, Ashburn
This Ashburn pub has turned St. Pat’s Day into a week-long event with the festivities concluding with a full day of music, beer and cheer.
