Welcome to the Boxwood home store located in Old Town Alexandria at 128 South Royal Street. Boxwood is a colorful home decor and gifts boutique that also features workshops and events.

Owner Joanna Szczerban ensures Boxwood features unique gifts for entertaining, dining, home decor, accessories, children, and more. On our tour, we found beautiful porcelain diffusers, seasonal hand towels, and a colorful selection of paper plates, napkins, and candles to match. Gift personal accessories with bags, pouches, reading glasses, bracelets, lipsticks, and balms.

The mixologist will find a wonderful assortment of barware including unbreakable silicone cups, a rainbow of beautiful wine stems, crystal low-ball glasses, classic coupe champagne glasses, and gleaming gold shakers. Boxwood is one of a few places that carry Prima Pavé, a premium line of alcohol-free sparkling wines handcrafted in Italy.

Home decor includes natural wreaths, paintings, prints, and mosaic-style mats for doorways. Stylish lamps and shades. Scented candles in so many colors and scents can make a wonderful gift. As well as gourmet sweets and popcorn.

Shopping for a baby shower or little one? You’ll find stuffies, blankets, pillows, silicone kiddie plates and utensils. There are challenging puzzles for the older kids and kids at heart.

Looking for that pop of color in your home through refreshing a small bedside table or transforming a whole room, Boxwood offers a line of Annie Sloan® paints, waxes, and more! Boxwood offers workshops and events that include options on how to use the products, Bring Your Own Piece, Stenciling and more!
