Cox Farms Fields of Fear

Trek through over 20 acres of scary attractions including the Dark Side Hayride, The Fire Grounds, Cornightmare and The Forest Back 40.
Fields of Fear is open Friday and Saturday nights from 7:30-11:00 from September 20th – November 2nd.
Haunted Nightmares

Haunted Nightmare offers two levels of scariness. On Saturdays and Sundays during October the Haunted House opens from 1pm to 5pm with a less aggressive/intense show with fewer actors at a reduced price for a younger audience. They also offer escape rooms, a moonlit hayride and a corn maze that are not scary.
At 6pm and all other open times the haunted house is full of live actors waiting to startle, scare and entertain you. Haunted Nightmares is an intense attraction that features professional sets with theatrical lighting and special effects.

Back for its 11th season the Twisted Tales of Terror is an outdoor haunted walk that will lead visitors on a journey along abandoned buildings where they will encounter scary characters and sights.
On the less scary side there will also be a DJ spinning tunes, a bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, food trucks and a pop up shop.
Open weekends in October through November 2nd. *Special Designated Sensory Friendly Trail Time Sunday, October 20
The first timeslots of the night are Sensory Friendly Trail Times for families that would like to experience the trail without strobe lighting, overall lower volume levels of sounds, and scares that are not as intense.
Clifton Haunted Trail

This Is a local favorite and only open one night of the year. The Clifton Haunted Trail takes guests on a terror filled walk through 8 acres of scary woods with 24 skits and spook scenes. Concessions available.

Madhaunter’s Madhouse

There is not a lot of information disclosed about the specifics of this attraction. It was awarded Virginia’s “Top Haunt” accolade in five out of six years by FRIGHTFIND.COM and Madhaunters bills itself as Virginia’s scariest haunted trail. You be the judge.

Milltown Haunt

Milltown haunt brings scares over 12 eerie acres The haunt features both indoor and outdoor experiences and guests will experience an all new haunted barn attraction. There is also a midway where you can play games and buy food and beverages. Non-thrill seekers can sit around the fire pits.
Friday through Sunday beginning September 27th. One special “Lights Out” event will be held on November 2nd.
Field of Screams – Maryland

This year the Field Of Screams has a haunted trail and a trail of screams merged into one trail with 55 scare stations. There are also Halloween themed carnival games of axe throwing, ring toss and bean bag throw. There will be concessions as well as fire pits and smores.
