Our event selections this month bring us into the start of the holiday celebrations.  So plan head whether you are looking to enjoy a notable concert, take in a holiday light show, attend a local craft show or just taste some great craft beer.

DC Beer Fest
Calling all beer lovers.  The DC Beer fest will host over 80 different brewers who will be offering their tastiest brews including seasonal offerings.  Two session options, 12-3 PM and 5-8 PM.  There will be food trucks, music and dueling pianos to set the mood for a fun afternoon of beer tasting.

The REDEYE Market
More than 50 vendors will set up food tents along Pennsylvania Avenue during the Redeye market. The brain child of chef Peter Change, the Redeye Market is a love note to Asian food and culture.  Chang’s concept is to create a family friendly, open air food market similar to what you would find in Asia.  There will also be music, dance and other cultural performances along with delicious food

12th Annual Greater Manassas Veterans Day Parade
Pack the kids and head to Manassas for the Veteran’s Day parade in honor of local veterans. This is a traditional hometown parade with local marching bands, classic cars, dance groups, Bagpipers, firetrucks and more. Parade begins at 11:00 AM sharp.

Alexandria Film Festival
The Alexandria Film Festival kicks off this month.  The festival is showcasing over 40 films all screening virtually. Patrons can buy individual film tickets or an All Fest Pass.

Get in the Holiday spirit with a visit to these local annual light festivals that mark the start of the holiday period.

Bull Run Festival of Lights
Patrons can enjoy a leisurely 2.5 mile loop of holiday lights from the comfort of their own car.

Roer’s Zoofari LuminoCity Festival
Roer’s Zoofari hosts this walk-through light experience featuring holiday scenes.

Meadowlark Gardens Winter Walk of Lights
Located on the beautiful grounds of Meadowlark Gardens, guests follow a half-mile, paved trail surrounded by beautiful light displays.

Ice and Lights–The Winter Village at Cameron Run
Make it a night of fun at this local event where you can ice skate as well as walk through the winter light display. Take the opportunity to snap a picture at several photo op stops along the route.
