The Northern Virginia area is bursting with fun summer events this month from live concert series, a progressive new circus and a local multicultural festival.  Get ready for some summer fun!

National Harbor’s Salute the Sunset Concert Series
This free concert series with America’s military bands continues.  The U.S. Air Force Concert Band is stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, and they’ll play a selection of music starting at 7 p.m. at National Plaza.

Lake Arbor Jazz Summer Concert Series
The Lake Arbor Jazz Outdoor Concert Series takes place every Thursday – Sunday during the month of July and features some of the nation’s and the region’s finest contemporary jazz and R&B artists including Gerald Albright, Maysa, Jeff Bradshaw, Najee, Norman Brown, Avery Sunshine and more!

Darn Good Country Weekend
The Darn Good Country Weekend (DGCW) comes to Bull Run Regional for two days of live breakout country stars, camping, food, drinks and more. This year’s event will feature headlining performances by Chase Rice and Dustin Lynch, along with chart-topping artists like Jimmie Allen, Niko Moon, Tenille Arts, Elvie Shane, and more.

Vienna Multicultural Festival
The 2021 Vienna Multicultural Festival will close out the Commonwealth of Virginia’s inaugural Liberty Amendment Month with a day-long bevy of performers, interactive activities, crafts, food, and vendors that celebrate the diverse cultures and communities represented across Northern Virginia and the DC Metro Area.

Summer Wine Festival & Sunset Tour
Enjoy and taste unlimited samples of wines from more than 16 Virginia wineries on the beautiful grounds of Mount Vernon.  Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on and enjoy food concessions from The Mount Vernon Inn.

Lubber Run Amphitheater Concert Series
Grab some friends and a pack a picnic and head out to the The Lubber Run Amphitheater Summer Concert Series which returns on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., with 11 a.m. family-oriented programming on Sunday mornings (run-times vary).  This week enjoy the musical stylings of blues singer-songwriter Chris Pierce.

Historic Garden Tour Lee-Fendall House
