The Alden in McLean is hosting Drive-Thru Drama in July. Shows will be from 6-8 p.m. July 3-5 and July 10-12. Tickets are available two weeks prior to the shows. And what will you see? Small Change is about the travels of a $1 as it makes its way through space and time. Participants drive through, going from actor to actor for the performance.
Workhouse Arts Center is hosting Drive-In Movies starting this Friday. Seventy-five vehicles will be permitted and the cost is $30 per vehicle. Showings include: Beetlejuice, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Shaun of the Dead, Raiders of the Lost Arc, and two more that are still to be announced.
Capital Pride Month kicked off this month and is live streaming on June 13, showcasing festive storefronts, and Pride in the City–a Facebook and YouTube series with local drag performers and dancers, this Sunday. There will also be Zoom Dance parties and trivia events, plus more, happening throughout the month.
