Compass Creek Shopping Center: Two Retail Buildings—Plans Approved; plus a 120,000 sq. ft. Self-Storage Facility—Active Special Exception
Fort Evans Square: DMV—Under Construction of a 12,750 sq. ft. DMV location; and Home 2 Suites—Under Construction for a 70,000 sq. ft. hotel
Greenway Manor—Active Rezoning of a 60,200 sq. ft. multi-use space to allow for new construction and the adaptive reuse of existing buildings for a private elementary school, relocation of the existing daycare, worship and performing arts centers and offices, retail and restaurant uses.
Liberty Hotel—Active Rezoning permit for an approximately 80,000 square-foot, 140-room hotel and two restaurants. Developer also seeks to allow a drive-through use for one of the proposed restaurants on site.
Lidl—Active Rezoning 31,000 Sq Ft Grocery Store at Tuscarora Village
Mixed Use Projects
Church & Market: 116 apartments; a three-level parking garage with 177 parking spaces; 33,000-square-feet of commercial office and retail space; expecting 2024 spring opening for commercial and fall opening for residential
Meadowbrook Neighborhood Center: applications as a whole include a “commercial core” of first floor retail and restaurant uses totaling up to 34,000 square feet, including 4,000 square feet of patio and outdoor dining, 65 townhomes, a 5,200 square foot gas station and a 1,450 square foot car wash. Further, the plan also includes an 8.2 acre “residual parcel” to be undeveloped at this time
Virginia Village—Plans Under Review for 643 residential units (53 townhomes, 28 stacked townhomes, 72 condos and 490 multifamily rental units); 165,800 sq. ft. of retail/office (replacing current 170,000 sq. ft. section) of which 65,000 square feet will be ground floor retail and 100,800 square feet for office uses
