West of Leesburg sits a town that is popular for antiquing, entertainment, farmers markets, and imbibing at wineries, breweries and distilleries. Victorian homes line the streets of Purcellville, reminding patrons of the towns history while also offering interests for today’s residents.

The small downtown has brought in popular restaurants and eateries like Monk’s BBQ, Market Burger, Magnolia’s at the Mill and Gruto’s Ice Cream just to name a few.
Catoctin Creek Distillery, an award-winning spirits spot has called Purcellville home since 2009. There is also Belly Love Brewing, Adroit Theory Brewing, plus local wineries and other breweries just outside of town.
Eclectic shopping can be found at Twigs, Nichols Hardware Store, It’s Bazaar on 21st St., Nostalgia, Vintage Magnolia and more.
Outdoorsmen and nature lovers have a host of options with the nearby W&OD Trail, Blooming Hill Lavender Farm, Chapman DeMary Trail and the plentiful Franklin Park with trails, sports facilities, a pool and fishing pond.
So find some time to head west to Purcellville.
