What evidence does a buyer look for regarding maintenance?

When a buyer visits a home, they are usually in the home for around 30 minutes. During this time, a buyer looks for the following:

A clean, well kept exterior
The major systems, like your HVAC and Hot water system for age and sizes
Recent updates to appliances and fixtures is also important
Visible signs of significant damage or wear and tear on your home
A well maintained roof and the age of the roof is important to them
Basically, they want a home that has been well card for and won’t require large repairs immediately.
